Guide
Use NexlaTV in the Tesla browser
Prepare your connection, configure from your phone and navigate a personal media library on the car display.
Start while parked
Open NexlaTV in the Tesla browser and sign in. AMD-equipped vehicles have been tested successfully, including playback in Drive. Check the compatibility guidance before setting up.
Set up with your phone
Open the phone QR entry on the car screen. Scan it and add Emby, Jellyfin or Plex from your phone. Keep the car screen online so the source list can update.
Browse and watch
- Select a source in the header, then a library in Browse.
- Search for a title or open its details. For series, choose a season and episode.
- Choose a version if offered, then Play. Use browser Back to leave playback and return to details.
If the library opens but the video does not
The car may be on a different network from your server. Check the media address, HTTPS and browser format support using the compatibility guide. Do not disable browser security to force playback.
Can I watch in Drive?
AMD-equipped Tesla vehicles: the product owner has confirmed successful use and video playback in Drive. This does not guarantee every model or firmware version.
Intel Atom-based Tesla systems are not currently supported for reliable use. Browser crashes can interrupt or prevent use. You may try accessing NexlaTV, but we do not recommend relying on it for regular use. Network access, media format and vehicle software can affect the experience.
Other vehicle browsers have not been verified. Viewing while moving is for passengers only; drivers must not watch or operate the app.
