Use Plex on Tesla with NexlaTV

Authorize Plex, choose a personal media server and reconnect an existing source when needed.

Sign in through Plex

  1. Open Add media source → Plex, then Sign in with Plex.
  2. Allow the sign-in window and complete login on Plex. Do not enter a Plex password into NexlaTV.
  3. Return to NexlaTV and choose the personal server you want to use.
  4. Connect, then select a library in Browse and open a movie or episode.

Plex’s online catalog is separate from your personal server libraries and is not included here.

No server appears

Check that the Plex account owns or has access to the intended server, and that the server is online. Signing into a Plex account alone does not create a personal media library.

Reconnect an existing source

If authorization expires, edit the saved source and choose Reauthorize Plex. Complete the official sign-in flow and return to NexlaTV. If the attempt fails, retry rather than adding the same source again.

Removing a connection in NexlaTV does not revoke its Plex authorization. Manage that separately in Plex Authorized Devices.

Playback

Choose an available version from the resource details when offered. Network reachability and browser media support still apply; see compatibility.
